Kobe beef, or Wagyu beef, is of the highest quality. Cattle was first introduced to Japan for rice cultivation, but it wasn't until the late 1800s when the term "kobe beef" was officially labelled on beef that passes strict standards in Kobe, Japan. The cattle is surrounded in a stressfree environment and are provided with massages.
